Friday June 24th New York voted to allow same-sex marriages.  NY is now the largest state in the US to legally recognize same sex unions. Congratulations! Quick post just to update everyone that I am back from the Godless Gathering PA.0. I survived and had an incredible time.  Met some fantastic people that I'm sad I only get to see once or twice a year.  It was pretty successful. It looks like I'm much farther along the road to becoming self-employed than I thought.. On 5/24 I was informed by the owner of the store I work at that the location would be closing for good on 5/31. This one-week-notice thing is besides the point, but obviously living paycheck to paycheck I need some source of income.  I have snagged one client in which to do work for (the kind of work I went to college for, not being an escort you pervs ;) ).  This client is pretty awesomely crazy; he's got SO much work I could work 40 hours a week for the next two years straight and maybe get 75% of it done.
